Apollo Standard Starter Kit

Just like most first time users, this was the very first kit that I bought from Apollo. I was actually apprehensive at first since the kit costs $69.95. I was surprised at the price since starter kits from other manufacturers don’t cost anywhere near that. In fact, some starter kits are priced almost half of that. But when I saw what are included, I went ahead and placed my order.

standard starter kitYou just have to check the inclusions to know why. First of all, you’ll have everything that you need to get started. You’ll get a couple of very powerful batteries. These standard batteries from Apollo can last almost two hours of straight use if they’re fully charged. In addition, you’ll also get five cartomizers. Best of all, you can choose the flavor and the nicotine strength. These cartomizers total to about five packs of conventional cigarettes so you know that you’ll be getting a lot. Of course, you’ll be getting two chargers. You’ll get a USB charger plus a wall adapter.

Sounds pretty standard, right? So why is this kit more expensive? It’s because you’re also getting a portable charging case. This case is not usually offered in standard kits so this explains the higher price. Since this case can do three things – store your batteries and cartomizers, protect them, and charge the batteries – the additional cost is worth it. It’s going to cost you a lot of money if you’re going to buy them separately.

In essence, this is not really a standard kit since you’re getting an extra. But who’s complaining? I feel that this case should be added to all standard kits since it’s very useful. I’m just happy that it’s included in this kit. Just look beyond the fact that you’re paying more because it’s definitely worth it.

Apollo Extreme Starter Kit

I’m sure you’ll agree with me that the standard starter kit is pretty awesome. However, you have to check out the Extreme Starter Kit as well. I already bought the standard kit when I saw this extreme kit. Even if I already have the standard kit, I still bought the extreme kit. You’ll find out why when you find out what the inclusions are.

extreme starter kitNow, I’m a pretty heavy vaper. While the one to two hour use per full charge is sufficient on most days, there are days when I find it to be lacking. This is one of the reasons why I bought this kit. It features a more powerful battery. This kit features two extreme batteries and each one can last about three hours of continuous use. This means that I can vape for six hours straight using the two batteries before I need to charge them! That’s basically a whole day of vaping!

Even the cartomizers are “extreme”. While each cartomizer in the standard kit is equal to about a pack of conventional cigarettes, the extreme cartomizer is equal to about one and a half pack of conventional cigarettes. That’s a huge difference that heavy smokers (like me) will appreciate. Just like with the standard kit, you can choose your preferred flavor and nicotine strength.

Of course, this kit also comes with the two basic chargers – the USB and the wall adapter. Its main difference is this kit doesn’t come with the portable charging case. Is it such a big deal? It’s not, in my opinion. First of all, it’s cheaper at just $54.95. In addition, you wouldn’t really need the charging case because the batteries last longer. In addition, this kit comes with a car charger so you can still charge on the go!

Apollo Superior eGo Kit

The name of this kit suggests that it’s superior to other kits out there. Looking at its affordable price of $69.95, you’ll have second thoughts if the name is just meant to hype it up. Is it really superior to other kits? Is it one of the best? I have to say that I got really curious so I checked it out further.

superior ego kitThe biggest difference of this kit from the other kits is it comes with a clearomizer system, while the other kits come with a cartomizer system. What does this mean? Basically, this kit comes with clearomizers, two of them, that do not contain any flavor. They are empty. How then are you going to vape? You need to fill them up yourself with e-liquid.

At first, I thought that it’s quite a hassle and it’s better to just buy a kit with cartomizers. However, this kit promises that clearomizers provide a better flavor and a better overall experience, so I decided to check it out.

In addition to the two clearomizers, this kit also comes with two eGo batteries. Now, I’m confident to say that these batteries are superior to the batteries of the standard and extreme batteries since each one can last around nine hours on a full charge. Let that sink in. At first I was like there’s no way that I’m going to use the e-cig for nine hours in a day, but with the better experience offered by the clearomizers, I found out first hand that this battery can really last nine hours.

You’re also getting one 10 ml bottle of e-liquid. Choose from more than nineteen flavors and five nicotine strengths. You’re also getting the two standard chargers, USB and wall, plus a pouch with a lanyard for easy carrying of this kit.

Apollo VTube Kit V3.0

First of all, this is a pretty expensive kit at $119.95. That’s a lot of money. But still, being a fan of the Apollo brand, I went ahead and made an order. I have to say that the “V3.0” tag made me really curious. Also, its promise of new features was too good to pass up on. Fortunately, I wasn’t disappointed.

vtube kitFirst of all, I like how this kit comes with a stainless steel VTube. It looks amazing – something that you’d expect from something that’s made of stainless steel. This VTube can give you the most vapors and this is something that I can confirm. Compared to the other choices, I got the most vapors from the VTube.

Now, here’s where it gets pretty interesting. The VTube comes with a variable wattage system which means that you can vary the wattage that you’re going to use. In addition, you can also vary the voltage. With these features, it’s easy to see that this kit targets experienced users. This is why if you’re new to this, it’s recommended that you get the more beginner-friendly kits.

You don’t have to worry if you want to buy this kit, though, as it comes with a very straightforward three-button control panel plus a good display screen. With these features, taking advantage of the other features is very easy.

One of the other selling points of this kit is its clearomizer. It’s a Unitank clearomizer so that’s a plus. Of course, this kit comes with a high powered battery that you can recharge using the included TrustFire dual charger. It also comes with a carry case. It’s rather simple compared to the other carrying cases but it gets the job done.
